TEXTRON AVIATION EMPLOYEES' FLYING CLUB INC
About
The Textron Aviation Employees' Flying Club (TAEFC) at Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (KICT) represents one of two Wichita locations operated by this historic employee flying organization. Formed through the 2014 merger of the Cessna Flying Club (est. 1946) and Beechcraft Flying Club (est. 1941), the TAEFC brings Part 141 certificated flight training to the employees and families of the world's largest general aviation manufacturer. Training at KICT provides students with direct exposure to one of the busiest general aviation airports in the central United States, alongside commercial airline and business aviation traffic. Students progress from initial private pilot training through commercial and instrument flight instructor levels under the club's structured Part 141 curriculum, benefiting from the same standards that govern the club's KBEC location. The Wichita aviation community's deep manufacturing and engineering expertise surrounds students at every step of their training, creating an environment unlike any other in general aviation. For Textron employees, the club represents an affordable and professionally managed gateway to a pilot certificate that might otherwise be out of financial reach.
