LIFT Academy - Danville
About
LIFT Academy's Danville, Indiana campus serves the Hendricks County area as one of LIFT's regional satellite locations, extending the academy's flagship Indianapolis program to students in the western Indianapolis suburbs. The campus at Hendricks County Airport (KDAN) provides convenient local access to LIFT's Diamond aircraft fleet and Part 141 curriculum for students who prefer to train closer to home.
As with all LIFT Academy locations, the Danville campus operates under the same FAA Part 141 certification and examining authority as the main Indianapolis International Airport campus. Students train in Diamond DA40 single-engine and DA42 multi-engine aircraft, building proficiency in glass-cockpit avionics that match the systems used throughout the regional airline industry. The consistent equipment and curriculum across all LIFT locations allow students to transfer between campuses seamlessly if schedules or circumstances require.
LIFT Academy was founded by Republic Airways Holdings to create a structured, direct pathway from flight school to airline cockpit. Students who complete the commercial program and build hours as LIFT flight instructors become eligible for a fast-tracked Republic Airways First Officer position—a defining feature of LIFT's program that distinguishes it from most flight schools operating in Indiana.
