About

The Middle Georgia State University Macon Satellite serves as one of several flight training locations within MGA's School of Aviation network, bringing the university's nationally recognized aviation education to the Macon area of central Georgia. Operating out of the Middle Georgia Regional Airport (KMCN), the satellite campus connects students with MGA's world-class Part 141 curriculum while keeping them close to home.

MGA's School of Aviation is Georgia's only four-year collegiate aviation program and holds FAA approval under Part 141. Students at the Macon satellite follow the same structured, approved syllabi as their counterparts at the main Eastman campus, ensuring consistency and quality across all training locations. Coursework covers the full range of pilot certificates and ratings, from Private Pilot through Commercial, Multi-Engine, and Instrument.

The broader MGA aviation program is one of thirteen in the nation affiliated with the Delta Air Lines Propel Pilot Career Path Program, offering promising students an accelerated route to a conditional job offer with Delta. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science and Management and are eligible for the restricted ATP certificate at 1,000 flight hours, making MGA a top choice for students with airline aspirations.
