HeliStream has operated from John Wayne/Orange County Airport since 1982, offering one of Southern California's most comprehensive helicopter pilot training programs from Private through ATP with a diverse fleet including Robinson, Hughes, and Eurocopter aircraft. Co-owned by U.S. Army veterans Rodney Anderson and Barbara Perrin, the school emphasizes all-actual-flight-hour training with an on-staff DPE and specialized courses including external load, high-altitude mountain, NVG, and turbine transition.
