About

Angel Aviation established its Anchorage base in fall 2016, drawing on over 15 years of flight school experience that traces back to the company's original Arizona operation founded in 2001. The school is rooted in three generations of Alaska pilot heritage and operates from Merrill Field (PAMR) at 2301 Merrill Field Drive, Anchorage, with aircraft available around the clock.

The school's fleet centers on Cessna 172s for primary training, supplemented by Piper PA-14s and a Piper Seneca II for multi-engine work. This combination gives students access to quality aircraft across the full training spectrum, from first solo through multi-engine time building sought by commercial and airline-track pilots. The school emphasizes competitive pricing and well-maintained aircraft.

Angel Aviation caters to students at all certificate levels — from those earning a first Private Pilot certificate through Instrument Rating, Commercial, and ATP training — as well as professional pilots seeking multi-engine time building hours. Instructors include Jason Wadley and other experienced CFIs who bring practical Alaska flying experience to every lesson.
