Sean-Michael Kemp is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner based in Orlando, Florida, who administers private, commercial, instrument, and flight instructor checkrides in single-engine land airplanes. A graduate of ATP Flight School’s Airline Career Pilot Program, Kemp flew for SkyWest Airlines prior to joining JetBlue Airways as an Airbus A220 pilot. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, Gold Seal Flight Instructor credentials (CFI, CFII, MEI), and type ratings in the CL-65 and Airbus A220.
Kemp serves as the FAASTeam Lead Representative for the Orlando FSDO region, presenting safety seminars on topics such as Threat and Error Management in general aviation. He manages ORL200Aviation to assist checkride applicants with scheduling and practical test preparation. Outside of aviation, Kemp is the State Director of Instruction for Florida Soccer Referees and serves as a National Referee Coach and National Assistant Referee for U.S. Soccer.
