Kyle I Pack

Kyle I. Pack is a highly regarded Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and aviation professional based in the Orlando, Florida, region. A Florida native, Pack began his aviation journey at the age of 13, eventually earning his Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating while still in high school. He refined his professional skills at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics. While working as a full-time flight instructor, he furthered his education by obtaining an MBA from Stetson University in 2014, the same year he expanded his business, Pack Flight Services, which provides tailored instruction and aircraft ferry operations.

In 2016, Pack was selected by the FAA as a Designated Pilot Examiner for the Orlando FSDO. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a Gold Seal Flight Instructor with ratings for single-engine, multi-engine, and instrument instruction, as well as gliders. With thousands of flight hours and a clean safety record, he is known in the Central Florida pilot community for his fair yet thorough evaluation style. His areas of expertise include tailwheel transitions, glider racing, and owner-operator training. Pack remains a dedicated mentor to aspiring pilots, emphasizing risk management and a safety-first mindset during every practical test.
