Edward Joseph Comisky is a highly distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and aviation educator based in Orlando, Florida. With over 38 years of experience in flight instruction, Ed has accumulated thousands of flight hours and holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate along with Gold Seal CFI, CFII, and MEI ratings. His professional journey includes significant leadership roles, such as Director of Training at Comair Aviation Academy and Chief Instructor at Sporty’s Academy. In 2006, he co-founded Flight Training Professionals (FTP) at Orlando Executive Airport, an institution that earned AOPA’s prestigious "Best Flight School" award in 2016 under his leadership.
