About

Sweet Aviation's Auburn, Indiana satellite campus extends the school's nationally recognized Part 141 flight training to northeast Indiana, serving students in the Auburn and DeKalb County area who want access to Sweet Aviation's exceptional fleet and training programs without traveling to the Fort Wayne main campus at Smith Field Airport.

As a satellite of one of the Midwest's most celebrated flight schools, the Auburn location operates under the same FAA Part 141 certification, safety culture, and training philosophy as the main campus. Students at the Auburn satellite have access to Sweet's fleet of Cirrus, Diamond, and Cessna aircraft, progressing from primary instruction through commercial, multi-engine, and instrument ratings within a consistent, standardized curriculum.

Sweet Aviation's status as a Cirrus Authorized Training Center extends to its satellite operations, giving Auburn-area students access to specialized Cirrus training from instructors certified to the highest factory standards. The school's dual Part 141 and Part 135 certifications, along with its partnerships with Indiana Wesleyan University, reflect an organizational depth that benefits students at every campus location, providing resources and career pathway support that smaller independent schools cannot match.
