Skybound Aviation
About
Skybound Aviation has been a cornerstone of flight training in metro Atlanta since its founding, operating from DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (KPDK) in Atlanta, Georgia. The school holds FAA approval under both Part 141 and Part 61, giving students the flexibility to pursue structured, accelerated training or a more self-paced approach to earning their certificates.
The school maintains a large and diverse fleet of over a dozen aircraft, ranging from Cessna 172 Skyhawks and Piper Archers to multi-engine Piper Senecas and the aerobatic Super Decathlon, ensuring students gain exposure to a wide variety of airframes. Skybound has repeatedly earned a place on AOPA's Flight School Honor Roll, including the Honor Roll of Excellence, a distinction reserved for the top flight schools in the nation.
Whether a student is pursuing a Private Pilot certificate as a personal goal or building hours toward an airline career, Skybound Aviation offers the ratings and instruction to get there. The school has welcomed students from across the country and internationally, and its team of career instructors prides itself on providing personalized attention and mentorship throughout each pilot's training journey.
