Helicopter Institute - Marianna

Helicopter Institute was founded in 2009 by Randy Rowles and his wife Samantha in Marianna, Florida, with the goal of offering high-quality helicopter training as an alternative to expensive OEM factory courses. Randy Rowles brings over 15,000 hours of helicopter flight time and 25 years as an FAA Pilot Examiner—including service as HAI Board of Directors Chairman in 2021-22—making Helicopter Institute one of the most credentialed small helicopter schools in the country. The school's landmark achievements include securing US Navy and US Army Part 141 contracts for Initial Entry Rotary Wing training using the Robinson-powered TH-66 SAGE helicopter, cementing its reputation as a trusted government and civilian training partner.
