Helicopter Institute, Inc. (HII) at Fort Worth Meacham Airport (KFTW) is one of Texas's premier FAA Part 141-certified helicopter flight schools, offering comprehensive training from Private Pilot through Airline Transport Pilot in a fleet spanning Robinson R22s and R44s, Bell 206 JetRangers, Bell 407s, Bell 505s, and Airbus AS350 B2 helicopters. The school continuously modernizes its training infrastructure — recently adding a Bell 429 FTD Level 5 flight training device to its simulation fleet. Sharing its FAA certificate with the Longhorn Helicopters organization and related campuses in Tulsa and Prescott, Helicopter Institute brings airline-quality turbine helicopter training to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
