About
Kachemak Bay Flying Service (KBFS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of System Studies and Simulation (S3) and has operated at Temple Municipal Airport (KTPL) since 2007. The school offers both Part 141 and Part 61 flight training, Part 135 charter and tour operations, and Part 133 helicopter external load work. The fleet includes Cessna 172s and a Cessna 177 for fixed-wing training and a Robinson R44 for helicopter instruction, all maintained by the school's in-house Part 145 Repair Station. KBFS also has locations in Crestview, FL and Geneva, AL under the same operational umbrella.
