Joby Aviation Academy

Joby Aviation Academy is the FAA Part 141 certified flight training program of Joby Aviation, Inc. (NYSE: JOBY), the Santa Cruz-based electric air taxi developer, located near its headquarters in Watsonville, California. The academy received its Part 141 certification in December 2024 and offers a full complement of conventional pilot courses — Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, and CFI — to build a pipeline of qualified aviators ahead of Joby's planned commercial air taxi service using its electric aircraft capable of carrying four passengers at 200 mph. The academy represents Joby's commitment to developing the next generation of eVTOL pilots.
