Jennifer Rayne Watson is a prominent FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and the owner of AeroDynamic Aviation, a historic flight school based at Reid-Hillview Airport in San Jose and Monterey, California. Formerly known as Jen Delp-Mallet, Watson holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a three-time NAFI Master Flight Instructor with a Gold Seal designation. Her extensive aviation background includes a degree in Aviation Science and diverse professional experience across the airline, corporate, and general aviation sectors, where she has operated a wide array of aircraft ranging from light trainers to Citation jets and the CRJ.
Watson is widely recognized for her expertise in specialized flight training, including tailwheel operations, aerobatics, and upset recovery. As a competition aerobatic pilot and a Formula One air racer, she integrates a high-performance safety mindset into her role as an examiner and mentor. She is deeply involved in the San Jose aviation community as a FAASTeam Representative and has contributed significantly to the National Association of Flight Instructors.
