CHARLESTON SOUTHERN UNIV - AERONAUTICS

Charleston Southern University's Aeronautics program (dba Carolina Sky Flight Training) is one of South Carolina's few FAA Part 141-certified university flight schools, achieving its Part 141 designation in 2021. Operating from Summerville Airport with a fleet of Diamond DA40 G1000 and Diamond DA20 trainers, the program is part of CSU's College of Science and Mathematics and is the only institution in South Carolina offering a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics. Graduates become eligible for a Restricted ATP (R-ATP) at reduced minimums, giving them a meaningful head-start toward an airline career.
