Airgo Academy - Centralia Satellite
About
The Airgo Academy Centralia Satellite is one of several branch locations operated by Airgo Inc., one of Illinois' most established international flight training schools. Founded in 1968, Airgo has built a multi-campus operation across southern Illinois with the goal of maximizing student access to its FAA Part 141 and CAAC-authorized flight training programs.
This satellite location follows the same training standards, Piper aircraft-based curriculum, and rigorous oversight as the Airgo main campus, ensuring consistent quality across all locations. Students at the satellite campus pursue the same certificates and ratings—Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and CFI—as their counterparts at the primary facility, with the added convenience of a neighborhood training environment.
Airgo's international student focus and dual FAA/CAAC authorization have made it a recognized name in aviation circles far beyond Illinois. The multi-campus structure allows Airgo to serve its 80 to 100 annual graduates efficiently, distributing training capacity across the region while maintaining unified safety standards and instructor quality.
