The Bill Noe Flight School opened in fall 2021 at West Virginia's Yeager International Airport (KCRW) in Charleston, becoming West Virginia's newest university aviation program. Named for Marshall alumnus and former NetJets COO Bill Noe, the school operates under Marshall University's Division of Aviation and has expanded rapidly, welcoming 65 new students and adding aircraft in 2024. The program utilizes a fleet of Cirrus SR20 aircraft and is planned to grow to over 30 single-engine, 7-10 multi-engine, and 4 rotorcraft aircraft. The school has satellite locations at Martinsburg and Wheeling, WV.
