William "Bill" Peters Jr. is a highly esteemed aviation professional and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Charleston, West Virginia. A retired Colonel with a distinguished military background, Peters has spent decades contributing to the regional aviation infrastructure, primarily operating out of Yeager Airport (CRW). He is a second-generation aviator who has become a fixture in the West Virginia pilot community through his extensive work with the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) and his leadership in local flight training initiatives.
Peters holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a seasoned Certified Flight Instructor with Single-Engine, Multi-Engine, and Instrument ratings (CFI/CFII/MEI).
