About
Angelo State University launched its Bachelor of Commercial Aviation program in fall 2021 and has grown rapidly to approximately 250 students. Flight training is conducted at the $10.2 million ASU Aviation Training Facility (8450 Hangar Road, KSJT) through its exclusive partnership with Skyline Aviation. The fleet consists of Diamond aircraft for fixed-wing training and Schweizer helicopters for the rotorcraft track. ASU is one of the select Southwest Airlines Destination 225 degree pathway partners, giving qualifying graduates a defined route to an airline career.
