Yuji Sakata

Yuji Sakata is a highly respected FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based at the Bellefontaine Regional Airport (KEDJ) in Ohio. Originally hailing from Japan, Sakata relocated to the United States to pursue his professional aviation career, eventually becoming a cornerstone of the training department at Midwest Corporate Air. Over the years, he has transitioned from an international flight student into one of the region’s most prolific examiners, specializing in accelerated flight training and complex multi-engine transitions.

As an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with extensive instructor credentials (CFI, CFII, MEI), Sakata possesses an extraordinary depth of knowledge in turbine operations.
