Ryan A. Davis, based in Signal Hill, California, has accumulated over 10,000 total flight hours and more than 20 years of flying experience. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument (CFII), Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI), and Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP). Davis has provided over 7,000 hours of dual instruction and spent over 15 years as a full-time flight instructor, including more than a decade as an Assistant Chief Flight Instructor under Part 61 and Part 141 operations. In addition to general aviation instruction, Davis has over 3,000 hours of experience in turbine aircraft, flying within corporate environments and FAA Part 135 operations. He previously returned to his alma mater flight college as an adjunct instructor to teach student pilots. As an educator, Davis authored aviation books and created the 'Flight Training Missing Links' presentation series, focusing on common errors and stabilized approaches. He conducts Private Pilot practical tests in single-engine land airplanes.
