Kenneth Raymond Czarnecki

Kenneth Raymond Czarnecki is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Arab, Alabama, who conducts pilot evaluations exclusively within the rotorcraft category. Because his FAA credentials—which include Private, Commercial, Instrument, Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) ratings—are limited to helicopters, he does not conduct airplane checkrides. He operates his examiner services under the name DPE-CZAR through Czarnecki Aviation Resources, Inc., a female-veteran owned company he runs with his wife, Lori Czarnecki. The company operates under the motto, "Demand Perfection, Accept only Excellence."

Prior to his work as a civilian examiner, Czarnecki retired from the United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3), having served as a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter pilot. He is a member of the Tennessee Valley Chapter of the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA). In his civilian aviation career, Czarnecki served as the Chief Pilot for aerospace defense contractor Ace Aeronautics in Guntersville, Alabama. In this role, he was the test pilot for the Garmin G5000H "ACE DECK VL-60" avionics modernization system, which introduced synthetic vision and terrain database capabilities to legacy UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
