JEFFREY COOK

Jeff Cook is based in Bozeman, Montana, where he serves as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner conducting Private Pilot practical tests in helicopters. With over 10,000 hours of helicopter flight time, Cook operates professionally with Lone Mountain Helicopters at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. His diverse aviation background spans U.S. Forest Service aerial firefighting, air medical flights, heavy-lift construction, powerline patrols, and wildlife surveys. His commercial flight experience also includes precision flying for television and film productions such as Yellowstone, Need for Speed, and Tenet. Locally, Cook's favorite routes cover the Spanish Peaks and Ted Turner's Flying D Ranch in Southwest Montana. Outside of aviation, he is an outdoorsman who camps and fishes with his family, hunts bear and mountain lion with his two sons and six hounds, and mentored lifelong friend Dillon Kundert into his own helicopter career.
