Jeffery Joseph Counter is an extensively experienced aviation professional and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) serving the Lincoln, Nebraska, region. His aviation journey began in the U.S. Army, where he served as an honor graduate and crew chief for Black Hawk helicopters in Germany. Jeff later transitioned to civilian aviation, earning degrees in Aviation Management from Iowa Lake Community College and the University of Dubuque. He built a diverse professional foundation through roles as a Part 135 charter pilot, flight instructor, and Base Chief Pilot at Elliott Aviation in Omaha.
Jeff’s career is further distinguished by significant Part 121 airline experience, having served as a DC-9 First Officer for Midwest Express and later as a Captain for Frontier Airlines on the Airbus A320 family.
