Andrew James Malousek

Andrew James Malousek is a highly decorated aviator and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Broomfield, Colorado. His career spans over three decades, beginning in 1994 and evolving through distinguished military and commercial service. He recently retired as the Vice Wing Commander for the 155th Air Refueling Wing, having served as an instructor and evaluator pilot in the KC-135R. His extensive professional background includes flying the Boeing 777 for FedEx Express and performing specialized operational missions for the USDA and U.S. State Department in remote environments across the globe.

Malousek holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with over 10,000 civilian and 3,500 military flight hours across 200 aircraft makes and models. As a DPE, he conducts practical tests for Private, Commercial, Instrument, and Multi-Engine ratings. He is widely recognized for his technical expertise, emphasizing deep systems knowledge and a rigorous safety mindset during examinations.
