David H Bohn

David H Bohn serves as the Training Center Manager for the Bell Training Academy in Fort Worth, Texas, operating as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner out of Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport. In his capacity as an examiner, he conducts helicopter practical tests for Private, Commercial, Instrument, ATP, and Flight Instructor certificates, with authorizations covering Bell 206, 407, 505, and 429 models. His career includes 23 years of active duty service in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after serving as the Base Inspector and Deputy Base Commander for Marine Corps Base Hawaii. Bohn also represents Bell Helicopter at international safety conferences, co-presenting on advanced safety and vehicle health management technologies.
