Adam Levine is a highly distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Fort Worth, Texas, with a formidable background in both military and civilian aviation. A third-generation pilot, his career began in the United States Marine Corps, where he served for over a decade flying high-performance aircraft including the F/A-18 Hornet and the F-35. During his tenure, he achieved the prestigious distinction of attending the Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) and served as a Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI). His extensive operational experience includes carrier-based deployments and roles as a Forward Air Controller, providing him with a unique depth of knowledge in complex mission environments.
After his military service, Levine transitioned into the civilian sector, notably serving as the Director of Flight Operations for the Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC). Today, he leverages his thousands of flight hours and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification to serve the general aviation community in North Texas, conducting practical tests at airports like Fort Worth Meacham and Alliance Field. As a DPE, he is recognized for a fair but thorough evaluation style, focusing heavily on the Airman Certification Standards (ACS) and practical risk management. With a clean safety record, Levine’s safety-first mindset is a hallmark of his examination process, ensuring that the next generation of pilots meets the highest standards of proficiency.
