About

The Doswell School of Aeronautical Sciences at Texas Woman's University is the nation's only university-based flight program specifically designed to break barriers for women in aviation. Launched at Denton Regional Airport in partnership with US Aviation Academy — an FAA Part 141 flight school with a 70-aircraft fleet — the program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science with tracks in professional pilot or aviation management. Embedding female student pilots in one of the region's largest training fleets, TWU's aviation program combines ground, simulator, and flight training with a rigorous academic curriculum to produce the next generation of aviators.
