TEXAS SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY

Texas Southern University is a historically Black university (HBCU) offering an accredited aviation science program through its Jesse H. Jones College of Business and Administration. The program earned AABI (Aviation Accreditation Board International) accreditation, making TSU the second HBCU in the nation to achieve this distinction. Flight training is conducted at William P. Hobby Airport using a fleet of 12 custom 2025 Cirrus SR20 aircraft, providing students a modern glass-cockpit training environment from day one.
