SkyWarrior
About
SkyWarrior is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business operating one of the largest fleets of training aircraft in the Gulf Coast region. The school's Alabama campus at Troy (associated with Troy University's aviation degree program) operates alongside its primary Pensacola, Florida headquarters, with the combined network offering 54 aircraft for training under both FAA Part 141 and Part 61. SkyWarrior accepts the Montgomery GI Bill and Post-9/11 GI Bill for flight training and serves both civilian and military transition pilots.
The fleet spans a comprehensive range of aircraft types — Cessna 172s for primary and instrument training, Piper Tomahawks, Piper Arrows and Twin Comanches for complex and multi-engine work, Piper Seminoles, and Cirrus SR22s for advanced training — giving students exposure to a variety of platforms before they reach the airlines. The school's partnership with CAE, a global leader in aviation training, further underpins its curriculum quality and simulator capabilities.
SkyWarrior's training philosophy centers on efficiency: the school aims to take students from zero hours to a commercial multi-engine certificate in approximately two years, with curriculum designed to produce airline-ready graduates. Military-specific programs include ATP-CTP, Initial Flight Screening, and fixed-wing add-on ratings for rotary-wing veterans. Contact the school at (850) 433-6115 or [email protected].
