Semper Fly Helicopters, the only female veteran-owned helicopter flight school in the United States, opened in 2024 at Max Westheimer Airport (KOUN) in Norman, Oklahoma, in partnership with the University of Oklahoma's new Professional Pilot - Helicopter Bachelor of Science degree program. Founded by Brandi Rector, the FAA Part 141 and Part 61 school operates a fleet of Cabri G2 and Bell 206B3 helicopters with a specialized military-to-civilian transition program.
