Rocky Mountain USSF Flight Training Center
About
The Rocky Mountain USSF Flight Training Center is the United States Space Force Aero Club located at Peterson Space Force Base (KCOS) in Colorado Springs, Colorado — one of the first military aero clubs established in 1951 under Gen. Curtis LeMay. The club is open to active duty, active reserve, National Guard, and retired military personnel, and operates a fleet including Cessna 172/182 trainers, Beechcraft BE-55 Barons, and a King Air C90 for advanced training. The center earned AOPA's Distinguished Flight School award in 2019 and offers all certifications from Private Pilot through ATP, with VA approval for veteran benefits.
