Oracle Aviation Flight Training Center
DBA: DBA ORACLE AVIATION FLIGHT FLIGHT TRAINING CENTER
About
Oracle Aviation is a full-service aviation operation and FAA Part 141 and Part 61 certified flight school based at the Sioux Gateway Airport (KSUX) in Sioux City, Iowa. Originally headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, Oracle expanded to Sioux City through a landmark partnership with Morningside University and Western Iowa Technical Community College, establishing a state-of-the-art flight training facility at the Gateway Airport in 2022.
Through its partnership with Morningside University's School of Aviation, Oracle provides the flight operations component of Morningside's Bachelor of Science in Professional Flight. The program achieved full FAA Part 141 certification in May 2025 and received FAA approval for a Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP) pathway, allowing Morningside graduates to qualify for airline pilot positions with as few as 1,000 flight hours. Training is conducted primarily in Cessna 172 aircraft, with additional aircraft available for multi-engine and advanced ratings.
Oracle Aviation's full-service FBO model means students train in an environment with maintenance, fueling, charter, and aircraft management operations all co-located on the field—exposing them to the full scope of professional aviation operations. The school serves not only university-affiliated students but also individual pilots pursuing standalone ratings under both Part 141 and Part 61, making it one of the region's most versatile flight training resources.
