Moody Aviation

Moody Aviation, the flight training arm of Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, has operated at Felts Field (KSFF) in Spokane, Washington since 2005, offering a rigorous five-year program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Missionary Aviation Technology. The program is specifically designed to train evangelical Christian missionaries as pilots and aircraft mechanics for service in remote parts of the world, and its graduates constitute a significant portion of all active missionary pilots globally. Students accumulate approximately 325 flight hours in a fleet of Cessna aircraft — including 172s, 182s, 185s, and 206s — optimized for bush and backcountry operations.
