Kent State University's College of Aeronautics and Engineering operates the largest academic flight training fleet in Ohio with 34 aircraft — including Cessna 152s, 172s, Piper Arrows, and Piper Seminoles — from Kent State University Airport (KSUA) in Stow. AABI-accredited and home to Ohio's only Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative program, the school recently opened a new 17,800 sq ft FedEx Aeronautics Academic Center with four ALSIM flight simulators.
