HOVA Flight Services, the operating name of Heart of Virginia Aviation Inc, has served the Richmond aviation community since 1992 and has been based at Hanover County Municipal Airport (KOFP) since 2006. As one of the largest flight schools in the Mid-Atlantic, HOVA offers Part 61 and Part 141 training across an impressive fleet including late-model Cessna 172 analogs and G1000 glass-cockpit variants, Tecnam LSA and twin aircraft, a Cessna 172RG for complex training, a Citabria for tailwheel and spin training, and a full-motion Redbird simulator. HOVA is also a full-service FBO providing Jet-A, 100LL, maintenance, and avionics services.
