About

FIT Aviation is the flight training division of Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech), a nationally respected STEM-focused university in Melbourne, Florida, operating from the Emil Buehler Center for Aviation Training and Research at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB). The program supports four different aviation-focused bachelor's degrees—Aeronautical Science, Aviation Management, Aviation Meteorology, and Human Factors and Safety—giving students a uniquely interdisciplinary perspective on the aviation industry that goes well beyond stick-and-rudder skills. FIT Aviation's glass-cockpit Piper fleet and specialized curriculum options including aerobatics and tailwheel training ensure graduates are both academically credentialed and practically versatile when they enter the professional aviation world.
