Big Bend Community College - Aviation
About
Big Bend Community College's Aviation Sciences program in Moses Lake, Washington, is recognized as the largest and most successful commercial pilot training program in the Pacific Northwest. Students begin flying in their first week and work toward Associate of Applied Science degrees and Commercial Pilot certification simultaneously through a structured two-year curriculum. The school's 36-aircraft fleet includes Beechcraft Sport, Sundowner, Bonanza, and Twin Travel Air, as well as a Piper Warrior III with Avidyne glass cockpit and a Bellanca Citabria, supporting instruction from Private Pilot through CFI and Multi-Engine. A new partnership with Inland Helicopters of Spokane also allows students to earn helicopter ratings alongside their degree.
