AUSTIN PEAY STATE UNIVERSITY
About
Austin Peay State University's Aviation Science program is the only four-year rotary-wing flight program in Tennessee, preparing students for careers as professional helicopter pilots. Based at the Austin Peay Flight Facility at Clarksville Regional Airport (KCKV) with a fleet of Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopters and Robinson R44s, the FAA Part 141-certified program leads to a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Science with concentrations in rotor-wing flight. Strongly supporting military veterans — with VA approval for veterans' training benefits — APSU Aviation bridges military helicopter experience with civilian commercial certification pathways.
