AIMS Community College's aviation program is the only FAA Part 141 fixed-wing flight school east of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, located at Northern Colorado Regional Airport (KFNL) in Loveland. The Aims Flight Training Center operates a fleet of 13 modern fixed-wing aircraft — all 2017 or newer — equipped with Garmin G1000 glass cockpits, and offers two-year Associate of Applied Science programs in both Professional Pilot and General Aviation, with graduates earning Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, and optional Multi-Engine credentials. Aims accepts veteran education benefits and partners with Front Range Helicopters for supplemental rotorcraft training opportunities.
