William Karl Walker

William Karl Walker, frequently known by his callsign "B-Dub," is a distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) for the Orlando FSDO, primarily serving the Jacksonville, Florida region. Walker's aviation career began in the United States Navy, where he served for over 23 years as a Naval Aviator. During his military tenure, he logged thousands of flight hours, including 800 combat hours in Afghanistan and East Africa, earning three Air Medals for his service. A former Navy Flight Instructor and Military Pilot Evaluator, he was notably named "Flight Instructor of the Year" while teaching in Pensacola, establishing a long-standing reputation for instructional excellence and rigorous standards.

Transitioning to civilian aviation in 2013, Walker served as the Chief Flight Instructor and Manager for a major Part 141 flight school in Jacksonville for nine years.
