Stacia Joyce has over 25 years of helicopter flying experience, with the majority of her career spent operating in Alaska. Based in Wasilla, she conducts Private, Commercial, Instrument, and CFI checkrides in helicopters and holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate for helicopters. Joyce serves as an active aviation accident investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Alaska Regional Office and is the Chief Flight Instructor at Alyeska Helicopters in Anchorage. Alongside her husband, she co-owns Neacola Mountain Air, operating helicopter services out of Wasilla and Palmer. Her flight background includes high-altitude mountain instruction, offshore oil platforms, and emergency medical missions, with experience flying Airbus AS350, Robinson R22 and R44, Bell 212, 412, and 407, and Agusta Westland AW139 helicopters. She is also a FAASTeam presenter, an advocate for women in aviation, and was featured on the Smithsonian Channel's Ice Airport Alaska and the Alaska Wild Project podcast.
