Patrick Lyndon Nugent is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner and aviation attorney based in Keller, Texas. He has been a DPE for more than 12 years and conducts the majority of his checkrides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His designation is held through the San Antonio Flight Standards District Office (FSDO), and he also examines in Central Texas.
He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate and is a multi-rated flight instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI). He is authorized to conduct practical tests for private, instrument, commercial and ATP certificates in single- and multi-engine airplanes, along with the full range of flight instructor tests.
Nugent has practiced law in Texas since 1997, holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law, and lists aviation among his practice areas. He is a grandson of President Lyndon B. Johnson.
