Matthew Hewlett

Matthew Hewlett is the Director of Operations and Chief Flight Instructor for the Provo, Utah campus of Universal Helicopters, based out of nearby Provo Municipal Airport (KPVU). Associated with the Salt Lake City Flight Standards District Office, Hewlett has logged over 10,000 hours of dual flight instruction. He conducts helicopter practical tests for private, commercial, instrument, ATP, and flight instructor candidates. In addition to instructing and mentoring students at the Provo campus, he assists with regulatory compliance and FAA Part 141 inspections across the flight school's network.
