Mark Christopher Wesley Robinson is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based at the Reading Jet Center at Reading Regional Airport (KRDG) in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he operates under the brand MRDPE. Robinson is a rotorcraft-exclusive examiner who conducts practical tests for private and commercial helicopter certificates, as well as SFAR 73 endorsements for Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters; he does not conduct airplane checkrides. Born in Cameroon to British missionary parents, Robinson worked as a currency broker in London before transitioning to aviation in 2007, subsequently moving to the United States to complete his flight training. His professional history includes flying the Goodyear Blimp, instructing at Revolution Aviation in Southern California, and providing advanced turbine helicopter instruction to JAARS mission pilots in Cameroon.
