Leo Joseph Eggert is a highly distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Bowling Green, Ohio, with an aviation career spanning nearly five decades. A retired Captain of the Toledo Police Department, Eggert was the founding commanding officer of the department’s Aviation Unit, known as Air One. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with ratings for both single-engine and multi-engine land aircraft, as well as commercial privileges in rotorcraft-helicopters.
