About Larry Wayne Gross

Larry Wayne Gross is a distinguished pillar of the Indiana aviation community, currently serving as a Professor Emeritus at Purdue University and an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE). Based in West Lafayette, Gross is recognized as the longest-serving DPE in Indiana, having administered more than 7,100 checkrides since his appointment in 1973.
