John Peter Boos

John Peter Boos is a distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and Gold Seal Flight Instructor based at Waukegan National Airport (KUGN) in Illinois. Following a successful first career in electronic engineering where he earned eight U.S. patents, Boos transitioned to full-time aviation in 2016. He previously served as the Chief Flight Instructor for a prominent Part 61 flight school in the Chicago area. His academic background is extensive, including a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
