John Gardner Dye is a highly distinguished aviation professional and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Lisbon, Ohio. With over 28,000 flight hours accumulated across more than 60 different aircraft types, his career is defined by a profound commitment to flight safety and advanced airmanship. He is a retired Captain for United Airlines, where he operated heavy jet aircraft including the Boeing 757 and 767.
